BIO

James Jano is a Los Angeles-based experimental composer, sound artist and producer.   

James graduated from New York University with a degree in music production and sound design.  He specializes in experimental electronic compositions with a distinctly narrative quality to them.  James has composed original scores for feature films such as We Are All Angels and Divide In Concord along with the Amazon Prime docuseries re:MARS Luminaries.  He also regularly performs and releases music under his own name. 

James’s deep love for film often finds him working on the many facets of production sound, whether it be mixing, sound design, or location recording.  He’s worked on numerous documentaries, commercials, and narratives in varying capacities.
